Hi there, My name is Brenna and I was born and raised in the beautiful Sierra Nevada Mountains nestled right in the best part of California’s breathtaking landscapes (non-biased opinion).

I have been pursuing the art of photography ever since I saved up enough money to buy my first DSLR camera when I was 13 and running around in my 15-acre “yard” for hours on end, taking photos of anything I considered artistic. Growing up in one of the most beautiful states in the world gave me countless opportunities for stunning photographic work, but not until I moved to Boise, ID for school did I really start to dive into portraiture. Graduating from Boise State University with a degree in Marketing, I have taken the necessary steps on starting my own successful freelance photography business all while experiencing new cultures through travelling the world and photographing every moment.

As for the name, Ulivo Design, the name comes first from my obsession with olives. Ulivo means olive tree in Italian and as a young kid, I spent a lot of time at my grandparent’s house. My “Bopu” is a grouchy, adorable old Italian guy who lives off of candy and pasta. During those days at my Nanu & Bopu’s house, I often sat at the table with my Bopu, eating our snack of choice: ciabatta bread with olive oil and vinegar. He would tell me all sorts of stories while I sat at the table with him and devoured our snack. These are moments I will cherish forever.

So here I am, inspired by my story and ready to help you inspire others with yours.
